Each DP Team consists of one Lead and a number of normal DP Members. Each FIR has its own DP Team.
The Lead of a DP Team has the final responsibility of the team. It is is his/her job to make sure the FIR Definition is correct and does not contain syntax or contextually errors. The Lead is the only person of that Team who can publish a FIR Definition consequently. The Lead is also responsible to allow or deny other people from joining his/her DP Team after Terminal2 Solutions accepted or denied the request to join the Data Preparation program. In case the Lead cannot fulfil his/her tasks due to vacation or other reasons, a request can be made to Terminal2 Solutions to temporary or definitively change the Lead of a DP Team. See DP Frequently Asked Questions on how to do so.
Below is an image of a typical FIRDEF Dashboard as seen by the Lead
To publish a FIRDEF the Lead needs to click on the “Publish” button on his dashboard. Before doing so, the Lead must ensure there are no errors of any kind in the FIRDEF and that the FIRDEF is suitable for usage outside the DP environment.
If by any chance a mistake does slip through, the Lead can always revert to the last FIRDEF version by clicking the “Revert” Button.
To allow or decline new members from joining the FIR DP Team, the Lead has an extra section visible in the dashboard named “Access Request”. In this section a list will be visible with all people who have requested access to your FIR DP Team together with their reason. Only people who passed the initial screening by Terminal2 Solutions will end up on this list. To allow or decline a request simply click the corresponding button next the person.
The Lead can at any time request a removal of a member from his FIR DP Team. To do so, simply click the corresponding button next the member.
The other members in a DP Team have full access to the folder structure of their FIR. They can read and write inside their assigned FIR Definition and advise the Lead if a new version of the FIRDEF is ready to be published.
