nav element

Use a linestrip element to draw a single point on the map.

Attribute	Format	Remarks
Element	linestrip
id	string	navigation point id, also used for the long label
short	string	short label
symbol	string	symbol id used to draw the navigation point (see also symbols.xml)
tag	string	defines at which location relative to the nav point the tag shall be drawn, possible values are: N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW
lat	latitude	string containing the latitude
lon	longitude	string containing the longitude
x	float	cartesian X value (if lat/lon not used)
y	float	cartesian Y value (if lat/lon not used)
stipple	integer	stipple line bitwise pattern definition
width	float	line width in pixels
color	string	color id name
r	byte	color RGB value (0-255)
g	byte	color RGB value (0-255)
b	byte	color RGB value (0-255)

Use a nav element without a symbol attribute to draw text labels (example: airspace labels, altitude restrictions, etc...) Newlines “\n” are also supported

If there is no short label defined, the long label (id) is always used.

Use the tag attribute to avoid overlapping nav point names
