In order for Terminal2 Solutions to have an open communication channel with the Data Preparation Teams, we have opted to chose slack as tool. Slack is a sort of direct messaging tool, which makes team work a lot easier. A slack team consists of several channels, being public or private. For Terminal2 Solutions Data Preparation there are a few public channels which everyone can access and there is a private channel per FIR which is only accessible to members of that FIR and Terminal2 Solutions administrators. This tools thus allows us to communicate directly with DP teams but also allows FIR Teams to have a single communication tool available for them to communicate about their FIR with each member of that FIR.
If you want to use slack you just need to press the “Join Slack” button on your DP Profile and everything will be set up for you.
