The brightness dialogue box is used to adjust the relative brightness of different elements of the IVAC2 display:

• MAPS - All map data
• SDD - All radar-derived data

• GEO - Geographic data such as coastlines, rivers etc.
• SECTOR BOUNDARY - Boundaries between sectors
• GROUND - Ground layouts such as taxiways, buildings etc.
• AIRSPACE - Airspace boundaries such as CTR/CTA.
• NAVIGATION - Navigation data such as VORs, NDBs, FIXes etc.
• BACKGROUND - Background colourings.
• EXTENDED CENTRELINE - Runway centrelines such as ILS/DME markings.

• TRACKS - All targets which are neither assumed nor on the ground.
• GROUND TRACKS - All targets which are currently on the ground.
• TRACKS ASSUMED - All targets which are currently assumed.
