Maps are organised into groups:

Every map <id> must be unique however the map <name> can be duplicated.
Maps are activated by selection and can be defaulted as follows:

The selection and deselection of maps will be group able into presets.
A preset simply groups the selection/deselection of maps. Map may be called from multiple presets.

The idea behind presets is to simplify the selection of maps per function, for example:

Each sector will be able to define a default:
If one of the above parameters are not set for the sector they will be taken from the fir default. We are considering allowing the user to choose any of the above from a list of options which is defined in the fir directory.
